Sino Engineering Ltd is a West Vancouver, BC based firm with specialty in Electrical Consulting for the building industry. Since 2005, the company operates mainly in the Greater Vancouver area with project sizes varying from small to large.  The company’s focus is engineering design of electrical systems, energy-efficient green designs, lighting design and controls, telecommunications data, CCTV and security systems, public address systems, life safety including fire alarm, elevator, emergency generator systems, exit and emergency lighting, LEED applications, as well as custom databasing solutions as applicable to engineering projects.

Energy efficient designs include all new construction as well as retrofits of existing buildings for upgrade of lighting systems, installation of heat pumps / air conditioning (AC) units, solar PV array systems, as well as the latest in the industry Electrical Vehicle (EV) chargers.  Calculations for available electrical power capacity are performed on a regular basis for all existing facilities wishing to add EV charger systems in their parkades. Complete electrical studies are done to include all electrical systems with potential for energy savings which lead to a comprehensive analysis of how systems are integrated for best outcome so our clients are maximizing energy savings as well as minimizing capital and long-term operating and maintenance costs. All studies are completed such as to ensure that best synergy scenarios are considered that will benefit each buildings based on their specific function and long-term needs.  Full engineering design and assistance is provided for coordination with power authorities when electrical service upgrades are required.
